Central, LA was incorporated as a city on July 11, 2005. With a population of almost 27,000 residents, Central has become the second largest city in East Baton Rouge Parish. Central is a very family-oriented community. Central is the up and coming city, with a steady growth in both residential and commercial real estate. Central Community School System is made up of 5 schools:

Central is a very family-oriented community. Whether you are looking for a restaurant to have dinner at or something fun to do with the kids, you won’t have to go far. Some of the restaurants here in Central, such as Las Palmas and Coaches Grill, have kids nights with free or discounted kids meals, karaoke, . For a quick bite to eat, Central Buffet and Johnny’s Pizza are favorable.
